Candy Road

As with all good bands... this one comes with a story. It all started with a group of friends/neighbors and driveway drinking. Every weekend they would sit around the fire while Jayson serenaded them and played guitar. Hence, Candy Road Icehouse was born. After a while those friends encouraged Jayson to put together a band, which he would name Candy Road Icehouse Band. Growing up in the small Texas Hill Country town of Bandera, it was only fitting this is where he'd get his start playing at local spots like one of his heroes, Charlie Robison. As the band grew and went through changes it was eventually shortened to what is now Candy Road Band. The band puts on a great show bringing a sound that is familiar yet unique. Each member contributing influences from their own childhood heroes; guaranteed to have people out on the dancefloor or singing along.
